Richard Lichtfel
I answered your question in another location but will do it again here. The best tie downs are on the wheels. I have E track fastened to the floor under the track of the tires, bolted to steel cross members. I use wheel net covers and fasten them to the E track with adjustable snap hooks. They are fully adjustable and the vehicle doesn't move or dance sideways. I paid $200 for set of four, probably higher today. US Cargo Control Ratchet Straps, Tie Down Straps, E Track Tie Downs, Cargo Straps - U.S. Cargo Control I use these on a 1909 Mason, 1916 Peerless and 1970 Challenger.
