ghaskett
Is there a easy way to remove dash pad/cover so I can get to stuff behind dash, plus remove radio. Thanks.
Guest NikeAjax
First you must remove the metal trim around the windshield, all, and any screws between the under leading edge of dash, including the light switches, or just unplug them, the screws at the ends of the dash, and then, the screws that are up against the windshield: be really careful with those, as you need some torque, use an extension and a swivel, I think they're 3/8 or 7/16. You may want to put a nice big gob of tape on the end of your ratchet, as it's super easy to smack the windshield! Once you get those out, you have to REAAAAALLLLY yank on that SOB, it's not a gentle movement, but a sharp pull. Hope that helped?Jaybird
Guest NikeAjax
Oh, if you plan on removing the temperature gauge, BE REALLY CAREFUL: the copper tubing is so easy to break, you might do it without even knowing it--SIGH!Jaybird
