stooy
G'day All, I thought you might be interested in seeing some a photos from a trip I did in my fathers 1930 DeSoto CF8 Sedan last weekend. I did 532 Miles over a 28 hour period mapping for a rally which is coming up in November. I averaged 16MPG (imperial) or 17L per 100km, which I am fairly happy with considering I spent quite a bit of time in the hills. The car run perfectly the entire time and gave me no hassles at all. The below photo is on the great ocean road between Lorne and Apollo Bay at sunset. This one is in the camp ground at Apollo Bay Cheers Stewart Edited October 22, 2012 by stooy (see edit history)
abrahamseven
A beautiful Country and thanks for the pictures. The year that Desoto was made there were not very many motels, if any, and camping out was the the way we Americans traveled by car. steve
