Aero Distributor and KLG SM 30 Spark Plugs

Hi All.

A chap I know has a vintage Studebaker. He does not speak English and asked me for help.

He is after information as to where he could get parts and a new distributor cap for an AERO ( Newark ) distributor cap. Also are KLG SM 30 spark plugs still available or what would be the equivalent.

Thanks very much. That was quick. Probably because I'm not that far away from you in Christchurch, New Zealand. Have a 1927 Buick myself which I bought in your neck of the woods and which is now nearly fully restored.

Can you show a photo of the "Aero" distributor you refer to, also the manufacturer serial number on its ID tag? With that data I can search thru my old ignition parts inventory to see if there are any duplicates.
