i live in shiner tx home of shiner bock i worked there 17 yrs

And it appears his ammeter is showing a discharge with a new battery causing it to die.

I reckon it could be the voltage regulator that either needs adjusting, or replacing, OR a dirty generator comutator and brushes. My 2.5 cents. ($NZ to $US).
