Guest Posted October 7, 2001 Share Posted October 7, 2001 Since I'm going to be changing my ST300 to a 200-4R, and I don't need the idle switch or the tranny control switch, Can I change the linkage from a throttle ROD to a CABLE? & then fab a bracket to hold the VT cable & throttle cable? The Old Guy Posted October 7, 2001 Share Posted October 7, 2001 That is the sesnsible way to go. If you fab a bracket that will hold the throttle cable and the TV cable you will be in business. YellowLark Posted October 8, 2001 Share Posted October 8, 2001 There are aftermarket brackets for the TV cable (and also for a throttle cable). These can be seen in the JEGS catalog.<P>Proper adjustment of the 200-4R's TV cable is extremely critical.
