Guest
I have an '89 Olds 98 with the 3800 v6. It doesn't quite serve up the performance I was used to with my old '89 Sundance turbo. I recognize that the 98 is a lot heavier than the Plymouth and is hindered by an automatic transmission, but I would still like more performance. What sort of changes could be made (in perhaps 1 afternoon each-shadetree) for, say, a couple hundred dollars each that would give this car a little more zip? I am already planning a K&N, and my muffler is nearly rusted out and may be replaced with something a little less restrictive, but still quiet. BUICK RACER
Check out the Gran Sport Club of America Bulletin board at http://www.buickgsca.com
there's a discussion forum for Buick V6 and turbo tech, you should be able to get some ideas there.
