Guest Rob J
I need the little plastic bushing that inserts into the passenger side of the frame, where the tranny shift linkage pivots in. I'm sure other GM cars of the era must of used the same little bushing. 1st, what is the proper name to call this thing a ma jig, and 2nd, were can I get one? Thanks. RivNut
Rob,You don't say what year, but I had to shim a rod on one of my '64's once. I used the brass bushings that Mr. Gaskets sells for rebushing four speed transmission linkage. If I remember correctly, it was a really simple part number; something like #11. Google Mr. Gasket and see if it's still available.Ed
Guest Rob J
Rob,You don't say what year, Is there any other year than 65? LOL. The original piece was plastic, but I assume a brass piece would work if the size is the same. I'll take a look at Mr. Gasket. Thanks.
