Branded
The cooling system has what appears to be a radiator bypass tube between the upper and lower radiator water necks. I'm guessing that it is controled by a thermostat. Anyone one have any info on how this operates or problems with it.
Guest outlaw car man
Correct. I can't help much here, never had to mess with it on my cars. Shop manual will spell it out. Thermostatically operated, says the thermostat unit may removed and tested or replaced, like normal old stuff I'd guess. ( except for the added oil cooler ) Sandy
trp3141592
Hi,This mini-thermostat is held together with a cotter pin at the top. If you service it, be sure to use a brass or stainless steel cotter pin in this location.--Tom
