  1. Door has been damaged at one time in the past. Bondo is in the front section near the front fender. Appears to me that the door was damaged when someone was backing with the door open. This is a picture of the door when it was still on the car. Pictured is what the condition of the door is at this time. The person that made repair obviously didn’t know how to repair a dent and filled the damaged area with bondo. Door is rust free and could be a nice door in my opinion with some repair. Door has no latches or any other internals, this is a bare door shell. I believe this door will also fit other 49 convertibles, and hardtop cars. I can provide more pictures later if anyone is interested. Door is located in Southeast Indiana about 30 miles west of Cincinnati Ohio. I’d like to get $200 for the door. Located in Guilford Indiana

  5. Ok After several hours of searching the Internet I believe I have found the elusive oring seal for the canister style fuel level sending unit. Gym part 3893116. 3 1/2" OD 3 1/8" ID 1/4" thick. Hope this helps someone else in a future search.
  6. Thanks Gary, haven't look at Hemings in years, seems everything is so easily found on the internet these days. Not so much for finding this seal. The seal - oring is 3.5" ID and is normal thickness like the smaller oring seal used on most GM fuel sending units. Now finding a book rack that still sells Hemmings .
