Guest Don From Mystic
Hoping to learn the easiest way to temporarily remove the front seat to install seat covers. Many thanks for the advice!
FLYER15015
Don,When I pulled the seats from my "40 series 90, I worked from both sides and undid the outer trim panels that wrap around the bottom and sides of the seat. Then we removed the springs. It's a "bear". Then I found the mounting bolts underneath, and pulled them, and the whole thing slid forward out of the sheet metal frame behind the seat, and we pulled her out the passenger side door. It's heavy so bring a friend in on the job.Went to Mystic seaport many years ago when my kids were young and saw the Henry Morgan with her whole Stern off. Spent a whole day in the museum, and could have spent a week without seeing it all. Absolutely loved the town !!!!Mike in colorado
