Hello.....does anyone have a diagram / exploded view ( picture ) of the rear power window install.......I have it out, motor now works, but what a PIA :confused:

The key to removing and installing the rear quarter windows is having the glass in the "almost lowered" position. In the tech manual it shows the glass sticking above the body of the car by about 2" max allowing you to see the two phillips head screws that need to be removed to start the window removal process. If you dont have the window in that position you may experience PIA symptoms.

I removed the windows on my 65 with instruction from the manual and it went well but my drivers side window wouldnt go all the way down due to hardened grease so I was forced to remove the window with the glass in the "UP" position and it took 4x as long as the other one that i was able to lower before removal.

I can scan a page or two out of the manual but it would have to wait til next week.

Do a search for Jim Cannon's Chassis Manual CD. Well worth the price and it will give you step by step instructions for this as well as many other things you'll come up against. It's just as valuable as your set of sockets.
