NCReatta
This is the same car with the oil pressure switch problem. I haven't changed it yet, I was too worried weather my cam sensor job worked or not. Could that be the problem? I let the car sit for a few hours, and I can hear the fuel pump running before I turn the key to start.
Guest Mc_Reatta
If you are hearing the fuel pump running (and not confusing it with the brake pump) when you first switch into run then the relay is probably OK. Check the fuel pressure regulator for good vacuum line and no fuel seepage.Hard to tell more without that fuel pressure gauge. Might try Padgett's trick of adding a little fuel into the throttle body and see if it fires right up then.Is it slow to start only after it has sat awhile or every time?
