Guest deekster_caddy
Hi all,I have a '73 LeSabre sedan. I am trying to find some various sheetmetal, I don't really care if it's new or old. I need the floor pan underneath the rear seat (pass. side), trunk floor, rear quarters. I checked a few places I thought would have it but apparently the big Buicks are the forgotten ones when it comes to metalwork. I'm sure I could make stuff out of flat sheetmetal stock, but I'd love to find the right stuff if it's available.I am an amateur when it comes to bodywork, I am taking a good evening class at a local voc tech school which has unlimited access to their bodyshop with welding equipment, full paint booth, etc. I have done some minor body repairs and a lot of paint work, but for this level of rust repair I'm pretty green at it. If anyone has some tips on sourcing the metal I need, and/or a nice guide on rust repair, I'd love to see any help you have to offer.Thanks,-Derek Cunningham
