1915Buick
This will be the first time for me to remove the Motor Generator No. 56 from my 1915 Buick C-24 roadster. Can this unit be disconnected from the back side of the water pump, and then the entire motor generator removed from the vehicle without having to remove the engine?Any guidance would be appreciated.Eric Tanner, McLean, VA
Mark Shaw
Yes, there are two big bolts under the unit and two between it and the engine. Disconnect the wiring & advance connection before you lift and carefully remove it.
