Guest R-ajax peterson
Should the gas cap have a hole in it for breathing? Mine does not and I believe it is causing fuel feed issues. Have any of you rebuilt the AC fuel pump for these cars. It is my undersanding that I should take it appart and replace all rubber with viton ? Also ...it seems to me that I have heard something about there being some sort of baffle in the intake manifold, just above the carb that can cause problems. Is this true? Thanks, Rick
Guest Al Brass
What make/model of vehicle are you refering to? Most would have had a cap with a breather hole in 1931.RegardsAl

keiser31
Yes, it should have a hole and yes, there could be an opening on the inside of the manifold between the manifold and engine. My DH6 has a hole there that I did not know about and had to be plugged.
