Guest jproctor
Has anyone had any problems with 61 dynaflow converter having a vibration like it was out of balance ? Flexplate is in the correct position. The engine harmonic balancer has been rebuilt. Has new motor mounts. Vibration starts about 1500 RPMs until about 2200 RPMs and it seems to smooth out. Has the vibration sitting still in park. Edited September 21, 2011 by jproctor (see edit history)

Guest jproctor
Has the engine or trans been removed from the car? Or is this something that just came up? Engine was rebuilt , but did not have a vibration when it was reinstalled. This came up after it had been driven . Thanks
JohnD1956
Have you tried retightening the Torque Converter bolts to the Flywheel? And have you considered faulty sparkplug wires?
Guest jproctor
Have you tried retightening the Torque Converter bolts to the Flywheel? And have you considered faulty sparkplug wires? We removed tranmission and checked all flex plate bolts. Cranked the engine with inspection cover off to check for wobble. No wobble in flex plate. The engine is not skipping, runs great. JohnD1956
It just reminds me of my 56 before I isolated my plug wires and stopped the crossfire.
