Guest
I am looking for a left (maybe right also) fender for a 1967 Electra. I believe the 68s fit also, as well as the same two years from Wildcats and LeSabres. I am located in Niagara Falls Canada
66400
'67 LeSabre fenders are not interchangable with the '67 Electra/Wildcat fenders. Henry
Guest
I have never seen a LeSabre up close. Can you tell me what is different?
66400
LeSabre fenders are shorter! Front clip is longer on a Wildcat/Electra series. Henry
Guest
If I find a LeSabre parts car (which I think I may have, 68), can I take the entire front clip from that car and mount it to the Electra, or is the frame gonna be too long?
gbiggers
Nope! can't swap the whole clip the frame/wheelbase is longer..I happen to have a nice LF 67 Electra fender...have several Electra conv parts cars! let me know if you are interested and I will look closely at the fender as it is still on the car. 66400
Glen is right! The Electra/Wildcat front end is longer, longer fenders and hood! I found this out about 22 years ago the hard and expensive way! I bought the wrong, nonreturnable parts! Henry.
Guest
Excuse the unregistered name change. My computer is not recognising that I logged in (a problem with my cookies). Thanks for the advice. I was almost ready to drive 6 hours to go get a front clip off of a lesabre. Here's a twisted idea: Does the front clip off of a Delmont / Delta 88 bolt on? 66400
Olds 88 front clip would likely have same wheelbase as LeSabres, besides all body lines would be different where the fender and door meets! Take your time and you'll find the right parts. Henry.
John Hopkins
gbiggers, will your '67 Electra fender fit my '68 Electra? I am looking for both front sides. John.
gbiggers
John,<BR>Not sure about the application 67-68, but the fender mentioned above is not as good as originally thought...Its straight, but will need a patch panel at the bottom...sorry.
