Guest 51 Special
I'm selling my 1951 Buick Special. The car is in very good to excellent condition. I've been working on restoring it for the past three years. It has no rust and runs great. All of the followingt items have been replaced or upgraded:All new body mount rubber pads, new oil pan gasket, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt generator, new torque ball seals, new engine rear main seal, rebuilt brakes, new speedometer cable, new electronic ignition, new alignment, new springs all around, new shocks all around, new upper pivot pins, replacement gas tank, new door sill plates, all new interior including the trunk and new paint on the dash, the radio has been converted to AM/FM without changing the original stock appearance. Everything on the car works fineand the engine and undercarriage are very clean and detailed. The car gets alot of looks every where I take it. This is your chance to own a piece of American history. All fluids have recently been replaced with synthetic including transmission and differential. Asking $11,500.I would consider the car to be a 20 footer. The paint is certainly not perfect and will it would need a repaint to make the car a true show car but to have fun with, put in local parades or take to local car shows, it looks fine. Of course this is just my opinion but I've owned alot of classic cars and this one is truly unique and looks very nice. I get more compliments on this car than I did on my 1965 Impala SS and it was mint. <!-- End Description --><!-- End Description --> Edited July 27, 2011 by 51 Special (see edit history)

WWS
I would certainly call it better than a"20 footer" I have seen the car and the attention to detail, and it really is pretty nice. The upholstery in the black and red looks awesome on this black car. If I had the money right now, it would be in my garageJeff, Do you have any good side shots of the car you can post up?
