Guest Irv D Posted June 3, 2011 Share Posted June 3, 2011 Anyone know how to remove the lock cylinder from a 1950 DeSoto trunk latch/lock assembly? I am having this piece rechromed and must remove the cylinder prior to begining the process. I have attached a picture of the trunk latch assembly (installed on the car). The lock/key cylinder is in the middle of the latch turn handle - but is not very clear in the photo.
