Guest jredshoes
My 1952 and 1953 shop manuals say the frame number is stamped on "the left side frame rail near the master cylinder". I have been all over (and under) the car and can't figure out where the heck it is!!! Anyone have any more specific info on the location??? Thanks! Guest Bert
I own 2 '53 Specials, since one was sold with a title that didn't match the vin I looked all over both and could never find it stamped on the rail.
Bill Stoneberg
If it is anything like bot my 47 and 50, "near the master cylinder" means on the top rail of the frame back behind the rear axle. You have to remove the body to see it.<P>Tech writers... close but not quite.
