Guest stude8
A friend has a set of mystery hydraulic shock absorbers he would like to identify make and application for. See attached photos of the parts. They are a set of four with two arms that face forward and two arms that face rearward. These are the casting part numbers:Body; 5313843-R2Arm A; 5342645Arm B; 5342646End Cap 1754M 6-C-48It was thought these were for an early 30's Studebaker but that does not seem to be correct.Any help is greatly appreciated,Stude8 Edited May 11, 2011 by stude8 typo in title line (see edit history)

West Peterson
Based on the 1754M number (right side -- 1754L would be for left), I think it's 1940 Oldsmobile, Six or Eight, for the rear.
Guest stude8
Thank you West for the tip on the shock application, I'll pass it along to the owner and maybe these can find their way to someone who can use them.Stude8 Edited July 27, 2011 by stude8 typo (see edit history)
