kdml
I have been collecting parts to re-install the rear end in my '65. I have purchased the rear spring insulators that mount between the top of the spring and the spring seat. When I removed the springs there appeared to be another set of small insulators which go between the upper spring clamp and the washer that goes under the nut holding the clamp (see picture). Does anyone know a source for these or have any ideas of something I can use as a replacement.ThanksDoug

cobravii
I am currently in the same boat with my '64 Electra. I have the body off the frame and am changing out the springs, shocks, bushings etc. I could not source the upper spring bushing so I am cutting a rubber disc from the side wall of a tire (that's what looked like was in there originally). I thought I would do the same with the little ones too. I feel it will work well and no one will ever know.
