Guest bull
I am now sorting out the wireing which is in reasonable condition, however there is a pull switch under the bonnet on the RHS. The wireing behind may have gone to the ignition switch, then goes to the LHS harness (to to headlight and rear light). I don't know what it was for. Can someone help shine a light on it for me?(pun intended). Also I am trying to get power to the rear light, which I'll work out soon enough.Next problem is I broke my headlight lense and can you get a replacement anywhere? (I'll try Myers Early Doge and Romar.)cheers.
TonyAus
This switch was probably put in to meet the 1930s registration requirement that tail lights had to be controlled by an outside switch. The theory was that one could not extinguish the tail light from inside the car whilst being pursued by the authorities and thus make an escape!!Ditch it. Guest bull
Thanks Tony, I sort of thought it may have something to do with the tail light, but had no idea what. Both Romar and Myers stock the headlight glass. cheers
