Bell1220
I have 4 center discs for a 1988 - 89 Corvette. It has the original part number on them 10055340. But, they each have a different handwritten date also in the die-cast metal (see picture - date is upside down above the part number). Does this have any significance? The dates are 8-17-88 (two), 11-6-87 and 11-19-87. Also, two of them have the rubber ring around the edge, and two do not. Are they all supposed to have the rubber ring? The two without the rubber ring are the 8-17-88 dates. These are NOS. What kind of value do they have? Thank you for any information.
Larry Schramm
The dates are probably the day that the part was made. Most auto parts are date coded in either normal date or julian date code for the day that they were made.
