36 buick vaccum line

Putting back together my 36 model 40 and there is a vaccum line running from base of carb to vaccum on the distributor. 1/8 line and fitting on end of line not normal flare but the fitting onto carb is there. I need an identical fitting to connect the line to the vaccum on the distributor. The fitting itself increases size from my 1/8 line to the opening on the carb/vaccum--not sure of size but guy at NAPA told me 10/1 metric(doesn't make sense to me) and the end that fits into the carb is not open but has small hole in it. Don't know if the fitting for vaccum on distributor should be of same configuration. Any suggestions as to where I might obtain fitting would be appreciated or if one of you has an extra one or more you would like to get rid of I would like to purchase. Thanks
