Guest robmaxfli
Hi - first timer here..Here are my issues with the lights:1) Twilight Sentinel quit working. Lights would come on then shut off (while driving at night)..Now they don't come on at all unless I press the switch manually.2) Panel Lights (brightness) will not adjust up or down - stay the same3) Lights for AC/Heat, Radio and Shifter controls do not work. I took out the headlight switch and cleaned the contacts. - no dice...Then I pulled out the glove box to get to the Body Control Module. I found the wire that controls the panel lights. As I moved the panel lights lever on the H/L switch, I noticed that the voltage changed on the wire going to the BCM...So, I'm thinking that the headlight switch is good and possibly the BCM is bad ???How can you test a BCM?Can you offer any more troubleshooting suggestions?thanks
DAVES89
I don't have a '91, but my suggestion is to go over to the Reatta site. You might need a photo cell which is used to tell the BCM how much ambient light there is. I own '89s which are different the the '90/91.
