'91 Riviera - Interior Lights Problem

Hi - first timer here..

Here are my issues with the lights:

1) Twilight Sentinel quit working. Lights would come on then shut off (while driving at night)..Now they don't come on at all unless I press the switch manually.

2) Panel Lights (brightness) will not adjust up or down - stay the same

3) Lights for AC/Heat, Radio and Shifter controls do not work.

I took out the headlight switch and cleaned the contacts. - no dice...Then I pulled out the glove box to get to the Body Control Module. I found the wire that controls the panel lights. As I moved the panel lights lever on the H/L switch, I noticed that the voltage changed on the wire going to the BCM...So, I'm thinking that the headlight switch is good and possibly the BCM is bad ???

How can you test a BCM?

Can you offer any more troubleshooting suggestions?

I don't have a '91, but my suggestion is to go over to the Reatta site. You might need a photo cell which is used to tell the BCM how much ambient light there is. I own '89s which are different the the '90/91.
