It's a better idea, and cheaper than $175, to have your tanks soldered to a new core. 45 year old radiators are just that - 45 years old. You'd probably have to do the same to the ebay one as well. Mine is not in bad shape, it just has one of it's side sections off ( and in the trunk ). it hold pressure until it's completely hot then in the upper passenger side corner it starts to steam, so I'll pull it and see what it'll take to get it fixed then start shopping if neccesary.
