unimogjohn
This could be what you need on Ebay. It is at a reasonable price too; they are getting really hard to find. 1924-1925-1926-1927-1928 BUICK Vintage Timing Gear NOS! - eBay (item 380226797480 end time Dec-17-10 17:47:48 PST)
Guest h_eckstein
I can't tell if your car is a standard or master from the ID of 54T. If your car is a 54-20, then it is a standard six. If the hand crank comes out under the radiator, not through the bottom tank, it is a standard six. I had a cam gear made because of the difficulty of finding one. I found it hard to find a shop willing to make just one gear. Finally I was referred to LAB threads and Gear Works, Inc. at 203-949-9097. They took measurements from my old gear and asked that I send the crankshaft gear so they could be sure of the fit, etc. The result was perfect. I had them make it of aluminum, which I regret because of the noise. They will make it of fiber if you ask. They should have the dimensions on file. Have them reference Invoice# 5562, 11 July 2008 for Howard Eckstein 1925 Buick Std 6. Good luck.

Guest h_eckstein
You're right, Leif, it is an old thread. Perhaps in the future someone will be asking for information regarding where to get a 1925 Std 6 cam gear, and the above reply will help them.
