89tc
Hi everybody in TC land, Now that my girlfriend made me buy a cabernet tc because she likes the color better than her exotic red one, she wants me to exchange the bad parts on the cabernet for the good parts on the exotic red. So my question is: do i need any special spring clip tools to remove the door panels, or can i just pry them off carefully with a flat screwdriver so the clips dont all snap in half?
Guest My TC Toy
After you remove the faux wood panels and the handle surrounds and the large screw in the rear of the handhold and the four small screws buried in the top of the lower carpet trim and the lower carpet trim and the five screws along the bottom of the door panel and the mirror retention bolt you can pull the panel up carefully to release the top and then out carefully and then un-clip the wiring to the door switches. Some clips may stay attached to the metal panel but they can be removed and reattached to the trim panel.Good luck.
