It seem that very few photos exist of a complete 1938 E 822 in road worthy condition (maybe there are very few road worthy examples to take picures of)

I bought this car in 1982 from the Original owner it did have some dents and cracks in the front fenders and some minor rust under the window rubber and side moldings, just external surface damage otherwise in very good running condition with 83,000 miles. I did have the body stripped, repaired and painted in 1987 than just sat in the garage due to House-kids-sports-scouts and school and am just now beginning the process of resurecting it.

WOW, that is a fine example of a 1938 E 6cyl Sedan. We have between 600 & 700 members in the Hupp club and about 6 1938 E,s. Be sides Dr. Fred & his son Allan Weinstein which is restored and Dave Romani which has a super fine original yours is a real gem and its a pleasure to see one . Thank you for sharing it with us. If you are not in the Hupp Club we have tec. advisors that could help you find that correct fuel pump you need.
