Guest Joe G
There's a place in the Minneapolis area called S&M Electro-Tech that does exactly what you are talking about. Electro-Tech WebsiteI've had dozens of radios repaired/converted there, and never had a problem. Give Greg a call:Toll Free (877) 780 - 2861Joe G. Guest B1rdman
Jake did this for me, perhaps he forgot it as itwas the only one he ever put in.i went to Dallas and had a input with pre amplifier put on my 47 radio.with it you can buy a round cd player at Walmart to play CDs and FM music. the only way you can tell it is in the radio is, a small switch mounted in one of the slots in the bottom of radio.and cord coming out to plug into the Cd player.the 50s music flows out in my car thru the orignal radio speakergene
47clubcoup
Thank you Jo for the info on the radio co electro tech. I spent some of today trying to find four or five am radio stations that i might like,Ill try again tomarrow.Four or five hundred is a lot to pay for fm ,but if i cant get into am ill half to do somthing.and the car is still a 6volt pos ground system. I like the sound of birdmans system, as it sounds cheaper and i can also play thoes old things called CD's ha ha
