Guest REX STALLION
I have had the opportunity to acquire a complete deluxe interior from a `63 to go into my `64 . The question I have is drilling for the rear paddle handle. My `64 had a standard interior so no extra hole in the door panel. Has anyone done this swap before? I`m trying to determine where to drill the hole.
abandg
There is an indentation or dimple on the door. If you have the linkage for the duel handles just hold it up on the inside of the door and you will see the the spot where it goes. The front handle goes in the hole already in the door. So you are only looking for the rear hole.I have done this a number of times and it was pretty easy once I saw the spot. Hope this helps. Gene.
