Guest Ctskip
that is on the upper plate in the photo? I'm in the process of stripping the 40 and the bottom plate is easy, it's screwed on. Now what about the upper plate? What is the information that is on it? What would most here do with it? Thanks, Ctskip
Guest DADDIO65
I believe you can still get those plates.. If I am correct they are patent #'s I think they are available through some of the LZOC suppliers....
Guest Ctskip
If thats all thats on it are the patent numbers then I really don't need it. I wasn't sure what was on it and whether I needed it or not. Thanks. It'll be a few more weeks till I'm that far along. Ctskip
ezdusit
Even more interesting to me is the fact that your car appears to be the 5th 1940 LZ Sedan built! An extremey early example...
Tom_Overfield
Like has been said, it is the data plate and they are easily available. Should you want to take that one off, the only way I found as I couldnt get behind mine, was to take a Dremel, with the cut off wheel, and make a slit in the head of each drive nail. Then just back them out with a screw driver. Works great.Tom
