Guest LouZ
Hi Lars, I'm very happy to read that your project is on the move. I must tell you the Radiator , and intercooler are "Golden Parts" No more made, almost can't find any used, to replace one, it must be hand made..Good Luck, Lou
TwinCamFan
Not that I need another 'spare' but just out of curiosity, what happened to the engine? If you were to tear it down I would be interested in that crankshaft.Alan
Lkvr
The engine was promised to the autoshop for the labor envolved in removing the internal combustion engine and installing the electric motor. The attached picture is a fabricated motormounting bracket for a plymouth Neon that uses the same motor mounting holes. Most conversions make new brackets and and weld or bolt the mounting bracket in the location that seems the easiiest to construct. For more information got to EV Photo Album: Our Electric Cars on the Web This web site shows cars that have been converted to electric motors and cars in the process of being converted. One of the coolest is a drag racing Datsun called White Zombie. This car can go 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds.
