1932 PA Radiator Details

The radiator in my PA has a core that is a folded fin type and not the honeycomb that I usually see. The filler neck is also different in that it is threaded. I always assumed that the radiator was re-cored way back when and the neck was modified for some reason. My dad bought this car in 1962 with only 30k miles on it and the radiator was like this when he got it.

Recently, I bought another radiator that has the proper core and neck. When I put them side by side, there are many differences in the shape of the tanks and details although the Fedders tag has the same number on both.

Is it possible that my "weird" radiator is correct? My car is a very late PA titled as a '32.
