Guest dancingredfox Posted July 12, 2009 Share Posted July 12, 2009 (edited) We have a 1940 dodge d17 business coupe and we are trying to put in new wires bur are having problems because of lack of components we are using a single wire alternator and the car has a foot button starter, I would like some help finding a diagram that would at least lead us in the right direction. Also I have the serial number of 4405633 found on door can any one tell me what info I can get from this number.:confused::cool: i found some more numbers on the engind block 1120883-8 and TI4243474(and a star shape at the end) this number is on the side of the motor and on like a tag Edited July 12, 2009 by dancingredfox more information (see edit history) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I believe that the engine serial number should be located on a flat boss pad on the driver's side of the engine just under the cylinder head.
