Graham Man
They did care but only to a point. I had my 1933 and my 1929 Graham in the "Public Enemies" movie. The director liked the look of the 1933-36 cars (more are deco). One of the bank robberies we shot there was not a single car on the road that was more than a year old (in the middle of the Great Depression) if they wanted it to be period correct there would have been mostly Model T's and a few horses. One of the components that made these bank robberies possible was if they made it to the car there were almost home free. My favorite part of the 1936 Chevy was if two bank robbers would not have been shot on the way out, they would not have all fit in the car! These guys have lots of guns, bullet proof vests and hostages, they needed a big car to even move the crew, a small six would never have gotten the job done.
