I am sure I can find bolts to work but I would like to get original bolts or something very close. My problem is I wasent the one that took them apart and dont have a clue what to even look for.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Alan Cooke 1917 DB touring
Guest doberman
these are actually called the runing board sheilds and I need to know if the three bolts runing horizontal along the board were special ones like the front fender bolts with countersunk washers.I dont have any of the bolts to go by so I dont know what to look for. bobs1916
Helloyes they are . I believe they are called step bolts . They have wide slightly domed heads and are about 1 1/4 in long. Hard to save when you do a total rebuild as they are often rusted solid. I found them for sale at a specialty fastener supplier in multiples of 100 so I never got them... Maybe someone else has a source for only 6bob
