tim63riv Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 Zach,The PCM has recognized a lean condition which could be caused by a number of vacuum leaks in any vacuum controled systems. Make sure you check for any vacuum leaks hat may be present. Also, a weak or degraded Oxygen sensor could send a signal that the PCM would interpret as a lean condition. A scan tool would be needed to accurately diagnose the cause of the problem, but many times if the vehicle has high miles, an oxygen sensor may fix the problem.HTH,Tim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest THEHKP7M13 Posted May 3, 2009 Share Posted May 3, 2009 I was thinking intake manifold gasket leak. Easy way to rule it out is to have a smoker exhale into you air box/air snorkel/etc. If you see smoke it is an intake leak. If you don't move on. The point on 02's is noted.
