Jim Anselmo
Anyone have a connecting rod and piston from a '48 239 they would like to part with? I'd like to replace the rod that has a 45 degree bend and the shattered piston .Thanks,Jim

Guest Ragtop
Have you found one yet? I have a set out of a 194? and for the life of me I can't remember the exact year 6 cyl it was. The dia. of the piston (not the bore or rings) is 3.425, + - .005 has the connecting rod attached but not the bearing cap. It is used having been stripped out of the block before I tossed it. Guest Ragtop
$25 plus shipping. Or I can make a deal on all six. If you want it let me know if you have a shipping preference. I have used both UPS and USPS in the past.

Guest Ragtop
Let me know if you need anything else. I have most of the guts from a late 40's engine stored in my garage. This goes for anyone else who might need parts.
