Ron Snyder Posted March 4, 2009 Share Posted March 4, 2009 I need help identifying the engine in my 1930 heavy truck. Engine SN GB27645. 3 3/8 bore and 4 1/2 stroke. It has a direct drive generator and updraft carburetor. Truck SN D2302X6. The x is an unreadable number.I have seen similar engines but mine has a horizontally mounted oil filter at the front of the water jacket cover. Additionally, there is a CL logo that has the C and L intertwined on the castings. I can't figure how to post photos or I would have included a few.
