Made a custom dash for my 63 and want to re-use my ignition switch. How do you remove it from the dash panel once the electrical connector is removed?

cheers

Get yourself a paper clip and straighten it out.

Put the key in the ignition and turn it to Accessory.

Stick the paperclip wire into the hole which is lower left of the key slot I believe.

Push the pin in, while turning the key as if going left past the accessory setting, ignition housing will release.

Good luck.
