38 Lower control arm

I was greasing my 38 sedan last summer, I noticed one of the grease fittings was broke off on the lower control arm.. It seems as these fittings are not threaded in, I have a extra front end. Do I have to remove the nut that the fitting goes in and replace the grease fitting, or what to do? Thanks John

I would try drilling and tapping the disc that the old grease fitting was pressed into, then installing one from NAPA. The disc is soft metal and not too thick, all you need is a thread or two.

If not, buy yourself a set of new bushings.
