SMB Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 I posted this in the technical area previously but didn't get my question answered.What is the best way adhere reproduction rubber running board covers to the metal running board?I have heard this is difficult to do correctly. R Walling Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 I sandblasted the steel and then used an industrial conveyer belt two part adhesive. ($50 a quart) Be sure you leave the ends about a 1/8" long in case of shrinkage. You can always cut it off in a few months if you feel it is necessary.
