1910 Hupmobile colors

Hi- since there is no Hupp section, thought I would post this question in general section.

Does anyone have an original 1910 Hupmobile, with original paint, in the red and black factory color scheme? Or color picture of same?

I have found a gentleman who has a color match that was done in the 60's, and while I trust the source, would like to verify it even further. It is quite an "orangy" color. I have also been told that many early "reds" were more orange than red. I have tried to attach a picture of the color (newly mixed on lid of can).

Any information or advice welcome. I am putting paint on the car next week, and will probably go with this color unless someone tells me differently.

Hi - thanks Roger, a great site, unfortunately only goes back to 1929 on Hupmobile. What a great resource, though, I am bookmarking it for sure. thanks! David Coco
