John Gelfer
I am looking for a tool to spread the leaves apart just a bit, so I can put a little grease between the leaves of my Model T. I have seen one before that looks like a C-clamp, but has a tapered blade to wedge between the leaves. I tried to find one on e-bay with no luck. Guest Bob Kerr
Jack the car up on the frame as close to the shackle as possible to loosen up the leaves, blow the dust and rust out with an air gun and then spray or squirt with an oil can, gearoil mixed with kerosene along the edges and wipe off after the car sets back down. The oil will creep inbetween by cappillary action. Just did this to my 23 and 24 Oldsmobiles today.
