Guest Paterson Chris
This is driving me absolutely nuts. Can someone please remind me of the name of the car company -- it began with the letter "K" -- that made cars in San Francisco through the 1920's? The factory was on Howard Street between 10th and 11th streets. It still stands but is now a public storage type place. I used to live a block away in the late 80's and remember looking up at the concrete medallions set in the brick work with the letter "K" and, before I knew of the history, wondering what it stood for. Upon a recent visit back, I noticed the current owners chiseled away even at that last little reminder.I think it was something like Kreisl, Kissel, Krisel, or...? do any examples still exist? Thanks
