Guest JDHolmes
A friend just purchased a 66 GS. It had trim the entire length of the car (can see from dirt/paint) but it was not with the car. When speaking with the buyer, he was told that the GS did not have side trim but only the hood trim. Is this correct?
NEW1966
1966 Buick Skylark & GS has factory trim from front to back. 1966 Buick Special does not. NEW1966BCA # 11974

Guest JDHolmes
Looks like he may have been taken. This car had trim, though removed when it arrived, but there were no trim tabs originally. Seems like the PO got a GS hood and slapped it on a special. Can you tell me the VIN item which identifies the car as a GS please?
JohnD1956
The Vin number should begin with 44600 for a 66 Gran sportAlso the area between the taillights should be a black color and flat, as opposed to a ribbed chrome and black cast piece, or, no piece, which would be the case on the entry level Special.
