SAfrican Dave
Are there persons elsewhere outside of the Western Cape Province of So. Africa where I am that have, or know info about the long wheel base 1936 Dodge Sedans? Some, apparently, were actual limosenes, with divider windows. The one I have found, and recently purchased, unrestored, is the lwb. model (129 in. I think), without the divider window, making it essentially a "stretch Dodge Sedan," with two fold-out, extendable "jump seats." It's a six wheel model, with side wheel mounts that have metal covers. Does anyone HAVE such a thing? Are these "after-market make-ups?" Or did Chrysler Production (Dodge Division) produce these in 1936? This is a right hand drive model, with a strange looking aluminum casting for a dash board.
SAfrican Dave
There are no other examples of this car, to my knowledge, in South Africa. DSB
